Celle qui cherchait le curé / The one where she's looking for a priest

Nous nous marions donc à Bordeaux mais il nous faut réaliser la préparation du mariage sur place pour être mariés avec un autre prêtre.
Comme mon cher et tendre n'est pas baptisé, j'ai eu l'idée de recontacter l'abbé qui m'avait préparée à la confirmation. Problème, il a changé de paroisse. 
J'ai pas mal bougé ces dernières années (depuis 98 j'ai du passer 2 ans dans les Ardennes) et c'était pas loin d'être mission impossible, il pouvait être n'importe où et il pouvait parfaitement avoir carrément changé de crémerie et notamment de région!
J'ai donc appelé l'archevéché de Reims pour le retrouver et je suis tombée des nues quand j'ai appris qu'il s'agit du curé de notre paroisse!
Nous ne pouvions pas tomber mieux!
Je l'ai donc appelé ce soir afin de lui exposer notre problème et j'ai rendez-vous avec lui mercredi soir.
J'ai vraiment hâte d'y être! Il va tout m'expliquer.
Quel signe du destin! Et quel soulagement!

So we’re getting married in

Bordeaux

but we have to prepare the religious wedding here and get the religious benediction with another one.

As my dear boyfriend isn’t christened I wanted to get in touch with the priest that prepared me for my confirmation. The thing is he moved.

I moved myself a lot over the last few years (since 98 I think I only spent 2 years here) and it nearly was “Impossible Mission”, as he could be anywhere and could have even be in another region as far as I know.

So I called the archevêché of

Reims

to find him and I beamed when I learned that he was the priest of our city!

We could be any luckier!

So I called him tonight to explain our issue and I’ll met him on Wednesday evening. I’m looking forward to meeting him. He will explain everything to me.

That is destiny to me and it’s just great.
